Description
Here we have an original large Montblanc 149 celluloid telescopic filler fountain pen from the 1950s. The design of this pen has changed very little since its introduction to the market in 1952 and continues to be one of the most iconic pens ever produced. Today the pens are made of (“Special Resin”) Acrylic.
This pen is in excellent condition and the cap and barrel are without any cracks or damage, crisp model imprint on the piston turning knob, a clean and clear striped ink view, the silver rings are tight, ebonite feed, 14 C very smooth broad nib with flex, smooth two phase piston filler, recently serviced and has a fresh cork. The pen comes with its original tortoiseshell box – this is also very rare.
