This is a truly special Waterman 9ct gold perpetual calendar fountain pen. The gold overlay is on a hard rubber cap and barrel, dated 1929 with the maker’s mark FDW. FDW was Waterman’s maker’s mark used on Canadian and British pens, 9ct gold, common gold content used in British items. The is in amazing condition, almost mint condition, fitted with a medium semi-flex gold nib, and is present with its original box and papers. The pen measures 11.5cm uncapped and 14.5cm posted. This is a highly sought-after pen and would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
