The existence of Soennecken as a company began in 1868. Their products ranged from dip pen nibs in the early years progressing to fountain pens and a wide offer of office supplies over the next eighty years, including hole punchers and staplers. Some observers would argue that they lost their way with the development and marketing of fountain pens.  Their most successful and high-quality pens were introduced in 1952 with the launch of the 111, 222, and  333 models which were created with beautiful celluloid patterns, and all piston fillers These models are rare and quite hard to find.

Description

Here we have a Soennecken 333 Superior burgundy stripe piston filler fountain pen, which was produced in the late 1950s. The pen is in very good condition with a few minor scratches to the turning knob. It is fitted with an extra fine 14kt gold flex and has been recently serviced and fitted with a new cork piston seal.

The pen measures 13cm capped.
