Description
This Swan Visofil fountain pen was made in England in the early 1930’s. The filling system was one of many new and innovative technologies of the period developed by major brands to market their products. This pen was serviced by Laurence Oldfield, who has written extensively about the visofil models. The pen measures 13.2cms in length with the cap in place, distinctive celluloid grey hatch and silver ribbon transparent material for ink visibility and decorated with gold plated trims.The pen is in excellent condition, crisp imprints to the barrel and is fitted with a 14ct gold No3 fine flexible nib.
